When I think about branded recruitment advertising, I have always just thought about the main benefits of this type of advertising in terms of candidate attraction and recruiting:
A vacancy that we were advertising on behalf of a Lettings Company had been found by a lady that wasn’t actually looking for a job. She was searching online for a company to let out her house and had come across the advert for a “Part Time Property Manager” that we were advertising for our client.
Although she wasn’t looking for a job she had read the information about the company on the advert and decided that this sounded like the perfect company she had been looking for to let her house with and got in contact with them.
So, for this client using the branded advertising not only gave them candidates to interview for their Part Time Property Manager vacancy but also a new client and great brand recognition.
Which got me thinking….as a business your brand is key and getting your company name and brand recognised by as many people as possible can be an expensive task. The leading job boards within the UK spend multi-millions of pounds a year on marketing and advertising. All of which you benefit from when you use these job boards to advertise your vacancies across.
CV-Library – CV-Library’s advertising target job hunters in over 250 towns and cities and across the UK can be found at major commuter hot spots including rail stations, roadside, airports, coffee shops and gyms. They also have a high impact radio campaign airing on the UK’s most popular stations in Autumn 2018.
Indeed – Indeed’s advertising can be heard on popular radio stations throughout the UK and its new TV campaign can be seen on ITV, Channel 4 and various digital channels.
Monster – Monster’s marketing is focussing on skill shortages running events throughout the country with Monster Confidence and also having a large social media presence
Reed – I am sure you have all seen the Love Mondays TV adverts, the slogan of Love Mondays is as easily recognisable now as the reed.co.uk name itself due to the exposure the prime-time TV campaign has had over the past few years.
Totaljobs – 2018 has seen Totaljobs biggest outdoor advertising campaign with their “Next Level” advertising campaign being seen in prominent high footfall areas in London and Manchester in rail and underground stations and being seen on buses, taxis, trains and trams.
I am sure you will agree that’s a lot of marketing opportunities that your brand can be benefiting from.
