We had it all Friday 20th September as we held our third fundraising evening for Lunch on the Run.
There was a full house at the DY1 Community Building as everyone shared one vision to raise money for our chosen charity ‘Lunch on the Run’ at this year’s Queen Tribute night.
Guests were greeted by our fabulous doorman Paul Dewick (who kindly gave his time to help out on the night), before being escorted by our 70s hostesses Michelle & Amy to the Bucks Fizz Drinks Reception and a photo setting where souvenir photos were taken by Timeless Photography.
As the room filled and raffle tickets were purchased, our guests tucked into the wonderful food that was prepared by the staff at Lunch on the Run.
Thanks to the amazing generosity from people we had some fantastic prizes in the raffle with our star prize of a Bose speaker being kindly donated by CV-Library. The lucky winning numbers are shown below.
Then it was time for the main attraction…Johnny Will, one of the UK’s most popular Freddie impersonators who got everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported the event by donating raffle prizes, purchasing tickets and attending the night. This wouldn’t be possible without the support of everyone to make this event a success.
We believe it’s safe to say that everyone had a fantastic night and we are proud to announce that we raised £1,120.34 on the night taking our total fundraising amount for Lunch on the Run to over £11,500!!
