How do I use the service?

Select the 'submit a vacancy' option on the Recruiters Area tab on the navigation bar of the website.  

How long is the vacancy advertised for?

It's advertised for 7 days.

Whose brand is on the advert?

The advert will be branded as Candidate Source Ltd as we are resourcing for the role on your behalf.  For this reason we are unable to mention yours or your Client's company name within the advert.  Within the advert we do explain that we are an Advertising Agency and that we are advertising on behalf of a 3rd party who will receive a copy of the application.

Can I select more than one sector or location?

The majority of advertisers we work with only allow one location and one sector per advert.  If you would like multiple locations or sectors, we would need to run multiple adverts.

Why do you need so much information to write an advert?

The jobboards train our Consultants to write adverts in such a way that ensures our adverts appear in the search results when conducted by a relevant Candidate, are included in the 'jobs by email' and once read, enthuse the Candidate to apply. We know that well written, informative adverts attract quality Candidates and therefore, the more information you provide, the better the response will be.  

Once I have submitted a job, what happens next?

Your Account Manager will review the information you have provided and prepare the advert copy which is sent to you for approval.  We guarantee this will happen within 4 hours. Once you have approved the advert, the vacancy will be posted across a range of jobboards. Applications will be received in real time and can be viewed via the Applicant Management system.  

How long does it take for the vacancy to be advertised?

As long as you approve the advert quickly when we email it to you, it takes no longer than 4 working hours from you submitting the vacancy to us advertising the job.

Where will my vacancy be advertised?

We have over 75 jobboards that we work with who target both general, regional and specialist Candidate markets.  Once we have reviewed your vacancy, we will make an informed choice as to which ones will generate the best response; we aim to advertise your vacancy on as many sites as possible. To view our jobboard network, please select Job Board Network from the navigation bar and select which sector you are looking to recruit within.  

Do you guarantee response?

Unfortunately no, we can't guarantee response. However,with a well written advert and the number of jobboards we use, we would hope that we are giving you a really good chance of attracting suitable candidates.

Do you limit the number of applications received per vacancy?

No.  We can filter the response and reduce the number of applications based on criteria or you can receive all applications.

Can I change any details on the advert once it's been published?

No. Once the advert has been published, any amendments will require a new advert and charged accordingly.  We do ask you to approve the advert before we publish it.

How do I pay?

As a new Client, the first advert has to be paid for in advance.  Subsequent adverts can be paid for on invoice. Invoices are issued at the end of each month and payable within 14 days.  

How do I view my applications?

When we set up your account, you will be sent your unique user name and password; this will allow you to log into the Applicant Management System (AMS). The AMS will allow you to view your vacancy, review the applications received and prepare a shortlist.  From the AMS, you can also submit further vacancies and review your monthly invoice.
